Hindi na mapapanood sa ABS-CBN News Channel ang kontrobersyal na Chinatown News TV.

Ito’y kasunod ng kritisismo na inabot ng ANC sa social media dahil sa pagpapalabas ng Mandarin broadcast sa kanila ng girian ng China at Pilipinas, partikular sa pinag-aagawang teritoryo sa West Philippine Sea.
Bago ang pag-alis ng CNTV sa ANC, pinaliwanag ni ABS-CBN Integrated News and Current Affairs chief Ging Reyes na ang naturang programa para sa Filipino-Chinese community naaniya’y parte ng Philippine society.
“I understand the concerns on Chinese incursions in the West Ph sea & many other issues related to the country’s relations with China. ABS-CBN News has vigorously covered these issues, in our pursuit of truth and public enlightenment. But we resist discrimination against any race or ethnicity,” saad sa tweet ni Reyes.
