Parents should be more wary of their children browsing through Facebook because of an advertisement by Lazada showing a sexual image of what appears to be a young woman for a sleeping spray product.
This was brought to attention by ABS-CBN host Kim Atienza, calling out the online selling platform for posting the said image.
“Shame on you @LazadaPH Do you even know what you are selling? Is this even legal?” the ‘TV Patrol’ weatherman tweeted.

The verified Twitter account of Lazada Philippines responded, stating that they are already investigating the said advertisement.
But what irked Kuya Kim more is the advertisement is still posted in their Facebook account, hours after the complaint.
Your ad is still out as your team investigates. https://t.co/8AW4O9TJYL

Sports journalist TJ Manotoc chimed into the discussion, sharing her mom’s experience seeing another sponsored advertisement from Lazada with a photo of a man and woman in a sensual position.
