Sumakabilang-buhay na ang senior editor ng Philippine Daily Inquirer na si Guillermino de Guzman.
Siya ay edad 72.
Kinumpirma ito ng kanyang anak na si Rodrigo sa isang Facebook post, at ayon sa report ng Inquirer.net ay tinamaan ng acute respiratory distress syndrome at pneumonia ang batikang peryodista.
Ilang dekada na sa media industry si Guillermino, nagsimulang makilala sa ilang pahayagan tulad ng Times Journal at Daily Globe.
Naging managing editor si De Guzman para sa Philippines Free Press, at desk editor naman sa Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Isa si Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. sa mga nagpaabot ng pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ni Guillermino.
Guiller de Guzman was my colleague in the publishing business in GLOBE & TODAY, pioneerS in real journalism: elegant in the precision of facts and their presentation as news. He had a sharp and pitiless eye for grammatical howlers & idiomatic slips. He just died of Covid.
