DZBB correspondent Isa Avendaño-Umali showed how jeepney drivers cope up with the COVID-19 pandemic after the government halted their trips since March.
With the help of good samaritans, drivers from Manila has started “Biyaheng Pag-asa Mobile Palengke” where they were able to sell vegetables and fruits at affordable prices.
Avendaño-Umali helped the displaced drivers by buying their products, and also urging other people to also purchase from the mobile palengke.
Their stall can be seen at Laon Laan corner Blumentritt in Manila.
