Kapamilya journalist Lynda Jumilla-Abalos was troubled regarding the sudden influx of visitors at Manila Bay this weekend.
Department of Environment and Natural Resources, together with other agencies conducted the International Coastal Clean Up Drive this Saturday where a large number of people volunteered for the said event that happened on the shore of Manila Bay.
Apart from the clean-up project, the beautified part of the shoreline where synthetic white sand was put is open to visitors up until Sunday.
Some social media post from different media entity went viral questioning if social distancing was observed by the people who went to Manila Bay.
i hope we’ve hired enough contact tracers for this crowd. 🤦🏻♀️ https://t.co/yYXrFUyaNA
