After leaving GMA-7 and migrating to Canada for good, Rhea Santos also bid goodbye to his broadcasting career—but not for long.
The veteran journalist will be the new voice of Filipinos in Canada joining the all-Pinoy newscast on Omni Channel.
“A big part are the Canadians and people of diverse backgrounds whom I’m given the opportunity to work with that make @OMNIFilipino happen,” said Santos.
Apart from Rhea, former ABS-CBN reporter Ron Gagalac and ex-ANC broadcaster Mariton Pacheco are also pioneer for the said news program.
Marking this day that I’m able to tell stories that matter to my kababayan. It’ not only Pinoys and Fil-Can journalists making this possible. A big part are the Canadians and people of diverse backgrounds whom I’m given the opportunity to work with that make @OMNIFilipino happen. pic.twitter.com/lDNWC4kH8C
