Health Secretary Francisco Duque III should join the frontliners in the airports and welcome all tourists with open arms amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
DJ Chacha agreed with the same sentiment from a netizen, following Duque’s statement that they would only consider a travel ban from the United Kingdom if the new COVID-19 variant will reach the level of community transmission in the said country.
“Si Duque ipasalubong sa lahat ng lalapag sa airport galing ibang bansa. Sabitan niya lahat ng bulaklak tutal very welcoming naman siya,” the radio DJ shared and agreed on her tweet.

Duque was lambasted on social media for the said remark, even Senator Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson asked the health secretary if he is angry at Filipinos for letting the new COVID-19 strain spread before considering a travel ban.
