Former ABS-CBN reporter Gretchen Malalad complained about the rule of a subdivision in Makati City wherein they are suddenly prohibited to feed stray cats after four years of nurturing them.
On a video tweet of Macalalad, two security personnel of Dasmariñas Village can be seen while she is feeding the cats on a private lot.
“The admin of Dasmariñas Village Makati is preventing me to feed cats that were abandoned by residents. I have been looking out for them for the past 4 years,” said Gretchen.
“They’re now planning to round up all the cats and do what? Kill them all?!!” she added.

She also shared a ticket given to her for feeding the cats for a rule that according to her is that she haven’t seen in writing.
This Saturday, Malalad has posted an update as the admin of the said village already installed new signs prohibiting the feeding of the cats on the same property where they give food for the strays.
Security guards were there taking videos and pictures of us feeding. Parang red tagging lang diba?! Do you know of any other village who does this? This is an upscale village but their made up rules are draconian. #notoanimalcruelty @carawelfarePH @pawssionproject pic.twitter.com/ZO2c8SaEt9
