In LA we trust.
That was the words of Ginebra head coach Tim Cone in their Game 1 win against TNT Tropang Giga where the LA Tenorio led the way for the crowd favorites.
And after that Game 1 performance, the man known as ‘Tinyente’ beautifully commanded his squad all throughout the series on their successful path towards the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup trophy.
This Wednesday, the Iron Man of the PBA has achieved a new addition for his trophy case as he nabbed the Finals MVP award averaging 13.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.4 steals.
On Twitter, several sports journalists congratulated the veteran guard for willing his way to a championship.
Congratulations Ginebra for the chip and congrats to the PBA family for a successful #PBABubble! What a run! Papi @LA_Tenorio! Iba ka parin forever! Ganda pa ng mga thank you mo brother!😅

Chuck Araneta even started a discussion on Tenorio making a case as a top 5 point guard in the league.
Is it time to discuss LA Tenorio as a top 5 PG in PBA history?
