Big name journalist from different networks will join forces to educate teachers that will turn into broadcaster as the country shifts to blended mode of learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the statement of Education Undersecretary Alain Pascua, broadcast journalist Luchi-Cruz Valdes will serve as the senior trainer for hired teachers-broadcasters for DepEd TV, while anchor Paolo Bediones will be the lead leader.

Aside from the two news personality from TV5, other notable journalist who will train the teachers are Sandra Aguinaldo, Kara David, Atom Araullo, Abner Mercado, Jacque Manabat at MJ Marfori.

Veteran broadcasters like Jessica Soho, Korina Sanchez, Karen Davila and Arnold Clavio is also added to the mix.

“DepEd’s teacher-broadcaster training program will help equip and empower its select teacher-broadcaster candidates to be effective presenters on television, and also allow them to deeply understand the elements of video production by allowing them to discover the roles of associate producer, videographer, editor, graphic artist, and production coordinator throughout the program,” said Pascua.
